Laundry Care

To ensure that our organic cotton garments remain soft, vibrant, and durable for your little ones, please follow these laundry care instructions:

  • Machine Wash: You can machine wash all of our organic cotton pieces on a delicate cold cycle (up to 30°C). Wash with similar colours using a gentle detergent to maintain the fabric's integrity. Do not use fabric softener as this can deteriorate cotton over time.
  • Avoid Soaking: To preserve the colours and fibres, we advise against soaking the garments (in water or any other liquids). Soaking can cause the dyes to run and can break down the natural softness of the fabric. So for tough stains we recommend spot treatment with a colour-safe stain remover or better yet, using the power of direct sunlight!
  • No Bleaching: Keep the natural beauty of the organic cotton intact by refraining from using bleach or any harsh chemicals. Bleach will cause colour fade and spots.
  • Skip Tumble Drying: Please do not tumble dry these pieces. Heat can affect the delicate fabric and cause shrinkage and unnecessary wear.
  • Line Dry: To let the gentle breeze work its magic, opt for line drying. This method not only conserves energy but also contributes to the longevity of the clothing.
  • Drying Completely Before Folding: After washing, make sure to thoroughly air and dry the garments before storing. Avoid putting away damp items to maintain their freshness and quality over time.
  • Avoid Ironing: Our organic cotton clothing is designed to resist wrinkles so it's best to avoid ironing. However if needed, you can use a warm (not hot) iron setting. Please do not iron our socks as they will burn.
  • No Dry Cleaning: As with tumble drying, we do not recommend dry cleaning as the heat will cause the organic cotton to shrink. Plus, the chemical solvents used in dry cleaning can damage the fabric.

To extend the lifespan of your organic cotton baby and children's wear, we suggest a mindful approach to laundering: a gentle machine wash and line drying in the shade. Nevertheless, it is also acceptable to dry the clothing in direct sunlight. This method can assist in eliminating bacteria and naturally fading stubborn stains.

Remember, every piece has its own care label inside. If you're ever unsure, consult these instructions. Thank you for choosing our organic cotton pieces – made with love, designed for lasting wear.
